MAD multimedia is cross platform by nature. We develop games and applications for a wide range of operating systems and devices. Cross platform and platform independent solutions are in our opinion the best way to reach a broad audience with a single application.
We use Python as server-side programming language for cost-efficient development of state-of-the-art web applications. Django is our primary framework of choice because we are perfectionists with deadlines.
Unity3d is a flexible and powerful development platform for creating multiplatform 3D and 2D games and interactive experiences. By integrating design and code Unity allows our programmers and designers to work closely together. For us, Unity 5 has set a new standard in multiplatform development, currently it covers over 20 different platforms making it one of the most powerful options out there for building games.
Amazon AWS is our preferred platform for cloud deployment. It allows us to build failure resilient and scalable applications for our clients. We use services such as EC2, S3 and CloudFront to make our applications scale to thousands of users and beyond.
Being an industry standard from the past Flash is no longer a common choice for games and interactive applications, however we have have developed a wide range of Flash applications in the past and we currently use our knowledge in this area to port existing Flash applications to HTML5, ensuring their availability for the modern web.
We use the Corona SDK to develop cross platform mobile games, it has been our SDK of choice for games such as Octopuzzle and Safety Heroes. Based on industry standards like OpenGL and OpenAL, the Corona SDK allows us to build games for iOS, Android, Kindle and Windows Phone from a single code base.
